3-Day Systemic Interventions in Teams and Organizations

By:

Dees van de Hoef, Jan Jacob Stam en gasten

Teams function like living beings with their own will and often a good memory. Sometimes they move in the opposite direction of the team members. Who should be addressed, the team members or the entity called ‘team’? This concept applies to organizations, departments, startups, associations, or family businesses.

Program overview:

The 3-day program is in English. We provide the space to explore and experiment, to share and learn, in a non-judgmental and trusting environment. Participants typically come from seven or more countries, and for many English will be a second or third language. You don’t have to worry about how to make yourself understood or how to understand others. We will find ways to help each other when clarification is needed.

What will we do:

  • Over these three days, you will learn how to apply some proven systemic interventions in teams. While some of these interventions are spatial, they are far from constellations in the classic sense of the word.
  • What you will also learn is what systemic interventions essentially are, and how to create the conditions under which they can land.
  • You will explore the question of from what place you do the interventions and what effect this has on the outcome.
  • We will explain the “orders of interventions,” giving you a deeper sense of “What needs to happen and what might be the first step?”
  • You will be able to explore how your own patterns play a role in the intervention and your work on the team, and how these patterns can be used instead of being counterproductive.
  • We will introduce and practice different interventions, in a way that allows you to implement them yourself afterwards.

For whom?

Everyone is welcome, whether you are a (team) coach or team leader, manager, business owner, consultant or facilitator of constellations. Cases of participants are welcomed. We will work with those cases and at the same time use them to learn. In short: there is much to learn here, from hands-on work to developing your capacity as an ‘intervener’.
